Board Certified In Internal Medicine

Having been born and raised in Texas, Dr. Celina G. Mankey matriculated to Princeton University and graduated with a degree in Biology in 1995.

She then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine where she received numerous awards and honors. She graduated magna cum laude and was in the top five of her class.

Dr. Mankey completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, MA. She graduated from the residency's Primary Care Program in 2002. MGH is consistently ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals, and its training programs are considered among the best in the country.

MGH is a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. During her 11 years there, Dr. Mankey held several leadership, academic, and administrative roles in addition to providing primary care to her patients.

She was Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She also served as Assistant Director of the Office of Recruitment and Multicultural Affairs at HMS, and was on the HMS Admissions Committee. At MGH, she was Assistant Director of the Primary Care Program as well as the Co-Chair of the Internship Selection Committee for the Internal Medicine Residency.

She returned to Texas to be closer to family, and is delighted to offer world-class medical care to the people of Austin and its surrounding communities.
